Hi, You, or a representative, said on the Barton & Tredworth Facebook page - Labour for Barton and Tredworth - that flytipping on private property could be actioned by the council. This was just before I was then blocked from using that page, after suggesting that the council should use that power to do something about the carpark behind the former Colwell Centre being used as a rubbish tip. Not withstanding such pettiness, there are a couple of barrowloads of rubbish left in the alley behind my house, for months, possibly all year, that nobody with gardens opening onto that alley, have seen fit to do anything about (while in the case of Hethersett Rd, picking up awards from the city council about how tidy their street supposedly is). So will you investigate this, and ask the council/Amey to take action? And perhaps encourage residents on Hethersett Rd to not let things get, and stay so bad, for as long, next time? A reply would be appreciated, since I've never had one from you before, as my city councillor, to several emails sent about similar matters. Joe Kilker

Five days later, and still no reply from Cllr Hansdot. I could send another message, via writetothem.com, as I have to Usman Bhaimia, but on this occasion, a complaint to the city council seems due.
Hell, no time like the present...
PPS it seems it is not the city council who hand out that award. It may be the Barton & Tredworth Neighbourhood Partnership, who just happen to be currently chaired by Ismael Rhyman, council officer and resident of Hethersett Rd. No conflict of interest there, then...

Actually, I should have included the heading of that email, and what I added below my name, as an afterthought. I had an email from the city council this morning which said a variety of things on other subjects I was already aware of, but nothing about 'Cllr Ahmed Hansdot refusing to respond to emails', or quoted the reference number...

A year later, the rubbish (including sheets of asbestos) is still there. Big hand for Ismael Rhyman and our councillors...
