About half the work marked with spray paint, months ago, and maybe a year ago, in this alleyway, has been left undone. The email below has been ignored for six days now. The council bends over backwards not to force Amey plc to discharge their obligations.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The fact, the actual fact, remains that clear defects in the tarmac surface of that alleyway by the Church of God & Prophecy on Melbourne St East (just short of Melbourne Street West) have been marked for action months, if not a whole year ago, and Amey and the county council refuse to accept this fact (or admit whether or not the definition of 'actionable' has been changed), while I refuse to let employees for either outfit pretend they can't see that fact when it is waved under their noses.
Therefore I am making a complaint against Eve Alexander for ignoring photographic evidence of the work in this alley long marked for action, examples of which I've included. If you require more, I can easily make them available.

Mr Kilker
I am not going to enter into debate with you regarding who painted the lines or whether Mrs Alexander needs to answer your question. The fact remains that you have clearly been told that all actionable defects have been repaired in the area you describe. If you feel there are now others that need to be repaired then please report them in the way you have been asked to and they will be inspected.
Regarding any action that we may take, this will be in line with the Social Media Information Standard which I understand the council’s media team have already provided a link to.
Thank you
Colin Davies

1) Is there any reasonable explanation for why Mrs Alexander is unable to answer the simple question below (intended to be simple because the fact of defects being marked with white spray paint for rectifying, but then left undealt with, seems to have escaped her notice)?
'Do you accept that Amey/Gloucestershire Highways, are responsible for spraying all the white lines in the original photographs provided?'
2) What kind of 'action' are you suggesting, to prevent council employees from being called out publicly for failing to do their jobs?
You can answer these questions here, by email, or I'll ask them again on 'social media'.

Dear Mr Kilker
In relation to your recent correspondence and questions posed to my colleague Mrs Alexander, I have been asked to confirm the council’s and Amey’s position.
Both Amey and Mrs Alexander have informed you that all actionable safety defects had been repaired in the area you describe on 27th July. Should you now consider there are more defects that need to be inspected then please raise these via the report it tool by clicking this link: gloucestershire.firmstep.com/default.aspx/RenderForm/?F.Name=HPGNhD56zcv&HideToolbar=1&ce_lookup_type=SL06&return_url=http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/article/104809.
Mrs Alexander will not be responding on this matter again.
It has also been brought to my attention that you have recently named Mrs Alexander on your social media feed and that the council’s media team have previously asked you not to name members of council staff. Again I ask that you respect this request otherwise the council may need to take action to prevent members of staff confidentiality being breeched.
Kind regards
