Got dozens of these already, with date and time, but I've decided it's easier to type these out, with links, and keep them on the web, than saving them on a piece of paper so... Who Called Mewho-called.co.uk/Number/0127365505301273 655053 - 10:32am. Claimed to be from 'AF Assure' Domestic Services. It was hard to tell with his Indian accent. I asked him for the Companies House number and he didn't reply, so I said I'd need him to get that and ring back again, or send an email. A few seconds later, he hung up. [rated 'Dangerous']

who-called.co.uk/Number/0113490017801134900178 - Got this call at 9:05 in the morning. so ignored it. At 10:13 a different number, 03334432696, rang, and it was the Indian man, from UK Essentials, saying he would only take a minute of my time and then be gone. Knowing that these things take much longer than that, I said 'Alright then', and hung up. At 11:24, the second number rang again. It was an Indian woman this time, still from UK Essentials, still promising to take a minute. This time I asked for their Companies House registration number, and she went silent before hanging up.

I posted again on 'Who Called Me?' about the other calls. who-called.co.uk/Number/03334432696Both times I was called from this number this morning, at 10:13 and 11:24, the Indian man and woman calling claimed to be from 'UK Essentials', doing a survey which would take a 'minute'. Just now, at 13:22, I was called from 07949727704, and this *was* an automated message from 'Amazon', claiming dodgy activity on my account. So is this the same people behind both types of calls? Do they 'phish' for information with their surveys, to get into our accounts, or give information to others to do it instead?

Over a month now, and the closest we've had to a scam call is someone claiming to be our washing machine insurers, offering to cut our premium for not claiming, though we cancelled it years ago. They were told to ring back, and didn't, so it's an open case.

who-called.co.uk/Number/0113366826101133668261 - This call didn't get very far. Asian guy asking if that is [my name]?. I said yes, but the line was bad, and he asked again. Then he said, "You know your name?", and hung up. Scammers and data miners should be more persistent, but fine with me.

who-called.co.uk/Number/01603456821Indian guy speaking for Italk called at 15:09 today, wanting to ask me a few questions. I said hang on a minute and left the phone in the hallway. Couldn't be bothered this time to ask for the Companies House reg number, as that always leads to them hanging up.

who-called.co.uk/Number/02034689592I got 'Brandon', at 5:09 yesterday, trying the washing machine warranty scam. Told him we had no warranty for it, and he said no, it was for everything. Of course, that was rubbish. Sad to think that the small number of people who fall for this make it worth the while for these fraudsters to continue.

Had a call (ten minutes ago) from an Indian fella calling himself 'Ray Hill' on 07458196214, telling us about our 'trading account'. We still don't have one, despite the last half dozen or so calls from online traders. Scam, or someone using/stealing an email address for a laugh?

who-called.co.uk/Number/03308087383Gruff woman claiming to be from 'Prominent Support' called at 10.23 this morning, wanting to talk about our 'policy'. A few months back, we told another person claiming to be from this company to take us off their list, but here we are again. It could be a genuine employee not taking no for an answer, or the number may be being spoofed by scammers. I think we'll complaint to Prominent Support, to be on the safe side. prominencesupport.co.uk/

who-called.co.uk/Number/02045770013As revealed by Who Called Me, this number seems to exclusively be about fake Sky warranty discounts. They call people on the off chance that the call receiver has Sky, and presumably manage to make money off of it from vulnerable people. Sky ouht to make it very clear that they don't make such phone calls to their customers, as banks normally do.

who-calls.me.uk/phone/02035424173'Was called this morning, at 10:05 by a woman claiming to be from Assured Direct, Comprehensive Cover, and saying that I started a five year policy two years ago. She said I could now get a reduction on my payments, and asked for bank details. I said they must already have those, and I wouldn't just give them out to a cold caller. She then said if I didn't, my [five year] policy would expire (in fact she'd already said that it had expired 'last week'). After a bit of back and forth over this, she hung up. Just an hour ago, at 14:53, I was called by someone else on 01268395473, with the same story of two years elapsed on a five year policy. in a comedy Jewish accent this time, claiming to be nothing to do with the previous call.' Busy day, at the worst possible time, for me.
